Known as a skilled project coordinator with over 20 years experience in contract documentation execution, technical specifications, and contract administration Nathalie has a solid reputation as a thorough and experienced technician and project manager.
Nathalie studied Architectural Technology at Algonquin College graduating in 1991. After graduation, she worked as a facility project officer for the Canada Communication Group at the National Printing Bureau (NPB). While at NPB Nathalie was responsible for analyzing existing operations and the implementation of efficiencies at the Quebec City and Montreal printing plants.
In 1992 Nathalie partnered with Peter Williams Architect where she worked in various scale hospital renovations at CHEO, the Ottawa Hospital, Hawksbury District Hospital and as well on the Mothercraft Daycare in Westboro. In 1999 Peter Williams and Nathalie merged their partnership with Otto & Erskine and Henry Lowry Architect to become Lowry Otto Erskine Williams Architects (LOEW).
LOEW were the principal architects for the Ottawa Hospital from 1999 to 2007. As the lead architectural technologist on large-scale hospital renovations she gained considerable experience in coordination of all engineering and architectural components.
In 2007 Nathalie took the position of Head of Architectural Technology at The Museum of Civilization Corporation. During her tenure at the museum she was responsible for the entire project process from the selection of consultants via RFP to the coordination of user group occupancy. Her projects included the renovation of the special exhibits galleries, the boutique expansion, parking garage ramp retrofit and the exterior plaza retrofit.
From 2010 to 2011 Nathalie worked as the Senior Technologist at Lalande Doyle Architects where she led technical teams on various civic and commercial projects including the Carlsbad Springs Community Centre and the $292.5M Place Victoria at 30 rue Victoria, Gatineau at LEED Gold certified office tower for PWGSC.
Since 2011 she has been a founding partner of Lara McKendrick Architecture Inc. and is the technical and contract administration lead.
